The Priest of Pearl Alley is the story of a wayward Catholic priest by the name of George Sullivan. Father Sullivan has been a closet homosexual since childhood. He finally gives in to temptation after over twenty years in the Notre Dame University priesthood. As a result of his sinful activity he becomes infected with HIV and learns he will soon die of AIDS. He then confesses to his sin and repents, after which he is led out of homosexual bondage through the wise counsel of his fellow priest and pastor. Following his deliverance Father Sullivan returns to the gay community he had been involved with and begins a successful ministry which leads many homosexuals to Christ before he succumbs to AIDS at story's end. The Priest of Pearl Alley offers the reader a hard hitting look into the world of homosexuality; expounds upon how people become enslaved to homosexuality; gives the scriptural route of escape from homosexuality; and presents a message on how the church can offer salvation through Christ to homosexuals rather than condemnation of the sinner rather than the sin.
