This summer at Children's College we have worked with our students on the theme of attitude. The challenges of growing up in this community are immense as children have anger and frustrations that they are not able to express. This is reflected in how students interact with others once they leave our program. We are fortunate to have the summer program to work with them again to help them understand that their thoughts, beliefs, and actions have an impact on their life and future. This project on attitude is based on our accumulated knowledge and experience of more than 33 years of serving this community as educators in Slidell.
