The main point of this book is to point out that the term "hell" was a mistranslation of the Greek word "Gehenna," which appears 12 times in The New Testament, in reference to the Valley of Hinnom. In Biblical times, this was the valley where evil acts were performed. Today, however, in this valley stands a park in Jerusalem. The Valley of Hinnom never referred to a place of eternal damnation in the Bible. The idea of the Hinnom Valley referring a place of eternal damnation is non-Biblical and is not from God. It was borrowed from the beliefs of other ancient pagan cultures. This book contains many Scriptural references to detail the difference between the true Biblical meaning of the Valley of Hinnom and the mistranslation and misinterpretation of the so-called "hell" that continues to this day. This evil worship is detailed in Jeremiah 7:30-31 "The people of Judah have done evil in my eyes, declares the LORD. They have set up their detestable idols in the house that bears my Name and have defiled it. They have built the high places of Topheth in the Valley of Ben Hinnom to burn their sons and daughters in the fire-something I did not command, nor did it enter my mind." If you find yourself feeling skeptical right now, I want you to know that there is a veil before our eyes that blocks the truth about God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Let the Holy Spirit break this veil and allow you to see clearly the work, the faithfulness and the salvation of all people through Jesus Christ, our Lord. I thank our God for you, every time I think of you; and every time I pray for you all, I pray with joy. God is my witness that I tell the truth when I say that my deep feeling for you all comes from the heart of Christ Jesus himself. I pray that your love will keep on growing more and more, along with true knowledge and perfect judgment, so that you will be able to choose what is best - and then will you be free from all impurity and blame on that day of Christ. Your life will be filled with truly good qualities, which only Jesus Christ can produce, for the glory and praise of God. I have come to know that the things that had happened to me have really helped the progress of the gospel. Our life in Christ will make us strong and his love for us will be our comfort. We have a fellowship with the spirit, and you have the kindness, compassion and love for one another that makes you completely happy and free by having the same thoughts, shedding the same love, and being one in soul, mind and spirit. In conclusion, my brothers and sisters in Christ, be joyful in your union with the Lord. Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if anything ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing. For our citizenship is in heaven from which also we eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ: who shall change our vile minds, soul and body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious mind, spirit and body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself. May the grace of God the father and the Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen Amen and amen.
