The Tucumcari City Bank is a masterpiece of art deco style architecture from the viewpoint of an Italian artist named Giovanni Francesco Salvatore the Third. Giovanni makes arrangements with the bank's president to correct the buildings single flaw. A much needed mural on the mostly unadorned west wall. Giovanni stipulates no one can see the mural until it is finished. But something no one working at the bank could ever have suspected occurs. An incident that is only made more mysterious after the completed mural is unveiled. But by then Giovanni, the artist is long gone.
