Although Dr. Baker has desired to write "The Milk of the Word" for close to thirty years, it is not until recently that the Holy Spirit has given him the go ahead to fulfill his desire. Although the book is aimed at helping new Christians understand some of the basic doctrinal concepts of the Christian faith, questions asked Dr. Baker over the years have shown that even long time Christians will find this book interesting and informative. The book starts out by examining logically, historically, scientifically, prophetically and with respect to its self accreditation, why the Bible is a trustworthy and inerrant source of information concerning the Creator of the Universe and His relationship to all of us. Chapters 6 through 7 explain the process of human death and describe at length what each of us can expect to experience at our death. The same type of information is provided for our eternal future existence, including how our death experience will be different from the experience of those who died before Jesus Christ returned to His Father in Heaven.
