They meet many mysterious characters along the way including a fortune teller and haunting masked demons. It is set before the beautiful backdrop of Venice; a place full of magic, carnival, costume, myth and mysticism. A place where fairy-tales are made. The only problem is that there is a lot of deception and duplicity at play, and by the end of the story there is questioning about whether the mermaid was who she said she was at the start.
