Nana is sad to lose her hat as she starts down the trail leading to her car. As she approaches the car she is amazed at what she sees. The story ends with an unsolved mystery. The Roadrunner Who Knew the Way is about a mother teaching her son to drive in the mountains. A silly looking bird suddenly hops out of the bushes and leads their car into a canyon where they become lost. The roadrunner they once thought was a silly bird becomes a very important character as they try to find their way out
