This books concerns with the relationship between Psychology as a cognitive discipline and the logical foundation on which psychological theories can be based. This book is dealing with Gestalt psychological theory from the point of philosophy of science where concern is given to the logical foundation on which all developments of Gestalt psychology can be reduced. The central base of Gestalt psychology based on what we call relational structuralism which concerns with the relationships between the elements of experience. This philosophical perspective is well developed through group theory. This book investigates the problem of perception, as discussed by the Gestaltists, from relational structuralism. According to that epistemological view, it appeals that perceptual knowledge can be detached from knowledge of the entities forming the form or the structure, so long as the knowledge is confined to assertion of forms, it is not tied down or referred to any particular realm of content. My main concern is to show that the major argument of the relational structuralism implied by group theory can account for organizational perceptual phenomena as emphasized by the Gestaltists.
