Later, in New Waverly, Texas, while he was reading the Bible, in the summer of 1951, he felt an inner assurance that God wanted him to be a minister of the Gospel. He has been a gospel minister for 65 years. He has preached on street corners, in rescue missions, nursing homes, on university campuses, in parks, on beaches, at resort developments, in prisons, and other places where he could find an audience to tell them about Jesus Christ. He has conducted film crusades in theaters, high schools and municipal auditoriums, ball parks, and other places in northern California. He has been used to plant churches in large and small cities of California, Montana, and Seoul, Korea. He has filled pulpits at Lyons, Houston, Trinity, Cameron, and Apple Springs in Texas; San Francisco, Sherman Oaks, Oakdale, and Keyes, California and Regina Saskatchewan Canada. He has assisted in missionary endeavors around the world. He has expanded his ministry from his pulpit to newspaper columns and radio broadcasts in Houston and Trinity, Texas, and Regina, Saskatchewan. As he carried the Gospel, he has been bi-vocational in a variety of trades and professions. He earned the B.A. Degree in Religion from Baylor University at Waco, Texas in 1954; he earned the Master of Divinity degree from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in Mill Valley, California in 1958. He devotes his life to making Disciples for Jesus Christ and leading Christians to become like Christ.
