Tracy Chevalier grew up in Washington, DC. She moved to England at the age of 22. In 1994, she graduated from the University of East Anglia with an MA in Creative Writing. Her second novel was GIRL WITH A PEARL EARRING, which has sold over 5 million copies globally.
