It is very quiet today in the United States because there are no cars on the roads, no Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning systems running, no airplanes flying by overhead, no one going to work, no stores open, the United States is on the brink of collapse. The U.S. Pacific Fleet lay at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean and the mainland is dark as pitch as seen from space at night. The New Asian Empire is expanding its territory by force in every direction and many former independent countries are now part of the Empire. About three months ago, the Empire sent the U.S. an ultimatum; remove all American forces from Asia to include South Korea, Japan, and the Philippines, abrogate the treaty with Taiwan, and pay the U.S. debt owed to the Empire or face the consequences. As usual, congress did not pay any attention to these demands and dismissed the threat as unsubstantial, the last of many mistakes by a corrupt and incompetent leadership.
