The Editors: Wibren van der Burg is professor of Jurisprudence at Tilburg University, the Netherlands; he led an interdisciplinary research programme about ideals in law, morality, and politics for five years. Sanne Taekema is assistant professor of Jurisprudence at Tilburg University and wrote her dissertation on ideals in legal theory.
