You will also use a journal to track and record memories and stories about your life. This will allow a greater understanding of who you are and why you do the things you do. Ultimately, this process will heal past traumas, beliefs, and attitudes that do not serve you today. The process takes the form of a virtual house that has many floors. Each floor has several rooms for you to explore. Each room represents an aspect of yourself. As you enter a room, you meet an aspect of yourself. This presents an opportunity to have a conversation about why you are in this room and what it represents to you. Write in your journal about your experiences in each room—your findings and how you feel. In time, certain observations will emerge and patterns of behavior can be seen. After working through the rooms on each floor, an opportunity to break the pattern can be taken. Thereafter, you move on to the next floor. The final floor will be the place where you get to see and understand who you truly are. From here, you will have all the tools and skills to live a more fulfilling life—in mind, body, and spirit.
