" Dr. Fatemeh Shayan offers an intriguing and innovative approach to examining energy cooperation. Her fact-rich discussion and careful analysis paint a comprehensive picture that is as educational as it is nuanced. Shayan does not follow an ideological script; rather she offers readers a multi-dimensional view of national and international natural gas regimes whilst masterfully dealing with the complexity of the material through clear organization. This is a must-read book for those who are interested in learning about the world of natural gas."
