THE PURPOSE OF OUR PERSONALITIES Much like our spirits enter our bodies at birth, we step into personalities, which are nothing more than vehicles for interacting with physical realities. We use personalities to interact with the universe, make friends, get jobs and get attention. By temporarily naming and then exploring our personalities, we make them more relatable, which helps us process unattended emotions and experiences. Doing so, we increase our ability to forgive ourselves and others, our awareness expands and we grow. Over time, we evolve out of some personalities, stepping into clearer, more advanced representations of ourselves. At the ends of our lives, we drop all personalities and we return to source. This does not mean that our souls die, it means we go back to an existence without pretense or construct.
