Wendy Johnson dreams of curing an illness that has plagued the women of her family for generations. Steven Stelth dreams of creating new forms of animal life through the means of science. Their endeavours lead them to the night where they finally attempt to fulfil the other dream. But a vengeful Death arrives, seeking to make good on his word.
