The Eyes of Truth is a part of my life story in my childhood days on the street of Khartoum, Sudan and the life of other colleagues on the street. In this book, I explored how Muslim Arabs treated the South Sudanese boys and girls on the street. I have included references and investigative works carried out by international NGOs and human rights bodies in the Sudan. The book also cited how sharia law and jihad was prioritized by the regime in Khartoum to oppress the Christians in the country. Sharia law, corruption and lack of political representation in the government caused civil war in 1983. The post protracted civil war in Sudan was the longer civil war for freedom in Africa. However, tribal disputes are sometime politicized by few leaders who are not willing to face the reality. After decades of civil war in Sudan, where millions of lives were lost, thousands displaced and many were exiled and after peace was signed, however there are tribal conflicts, militia groups and cattle raiders in Sudan and South Sudan - these tribal clashes syndromized our economy and government itself. There have been massive displacement, rape cases and brutal killing in Darfur since 2003 which resulted to the arrested warrant indictment of President Bashir of Sudan by ICC for war crimes and crimes against humanity. President Bashir was the first president to be indicted by the ICC in Africa. Coup attempts have had been carried out by power hungry politicians and soldiers in Sudan.
