This study aimed at examining the communication systems, employees' performance and the relationship between effective communication and employees' performance at Zoomlion Ghana Limited. It further sought to identify the barriers to effective communication and finally ascertain the communication channels valued by employees. The study revealed that effective communication significantly impacts employees' performance positively by improving their knowledge, helping to plan their work schedule efficiently and effectively complete their work schedule. The study further revealed that difference in perception and viewpoint on certain issues by employees, lack of attention and interest, information overload, lack of trust, delay in feedback, status difference and individual biasness are the barriers to effective communication in Zoomlion Ghana limited. The study recommended that management of Zoomlion Ghana limited and other similar organizations should promote communication effectiveness ensuring transparency, openness and informational availability to further increase employees' performance, which is positively linked to increase the productivity and growth of their organization.
