Jessica Joelle Alexander is a bestselling author, Danish parenting expert, columnist, speaker and cultural researcher. Her work has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, BBC World News, Time, Vanity Fair, NPR, Salon, The Atlantic and many more. She has been a spokesperson for LEGO on the power of play and gives talks on parenting, education and wellbeing around the world. She is a regular columnist for The Copenhagen Post and currently researches and writes for UC Berkley. She speaks four languages and lives in Europe with her husband and two children. Iben Dissing Sandahl is a certified coach, author, and licensed narrative psychotherapist, MPF, with a private practice just outside Copenhagen, Denmark. She specializes in counseling families and children. Originally trained as a teacher, she worked for ten years in the Danish school system before earning her degree in narrative psychotherapy. She is very passionate about her work and is regularly quoted in magazines, in newspapers, and on Danish national radio for her expert opinion. She is a wife and mother of two girls, Ida and Julie.
