Furthermore, it evaluates both concepts as to expose their inadequacies and maintains that democracy and socialism are philosophically rooted in the idea of equality and they can serve as a philosophical foundation in which a society can be based politically. Finally, the book concludes that, democracy and socialism can work together to a large extent in view of having a well-structured and organized society where justice can prevail.

Akpan Ndueso was born on 8th December, 1988 in Lagos, Nigeria. He gained admission to study Philosophy at the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Nigeria where he bagged a First Class Honours. He has Keen interest in African Philosophy and Socio-Political Philosophy.
