Patrice Leiteritz was born on 18.09.1990 in Sonneberg, Thuringia (Germany). After graduating from high school, he completed his studies of urban planning in Detmold and Erfurt with a master's degree. Today, the author lives with his wife in Saalfeld/Saale.After several unpublished writings in the fields of politics, philosophy and fiction, "The Cog in the Wheel" is his first published work. Through many years of critical examination of various philosophical schools and the question of the good life, he found answers in mechanical philosophy.For even if today's science has supposedly outgrown the mechanical world view, such a practical approach is still suitable to dissolve deeply rooted prejudices of mankind and enable them to lead a better life with liberating insights.
