That is a great first step, serving does not mean that you're going to do missions work, or go by the church everyday to find out what's going on to volunteer, no, it means that you will try to the best of your ability to hold fast to the three basic rules that Jesus told us to live by, which are again; TO LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL OF YOU HEART AND MIND AND STRENGTH. TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER AS YOU LOVE YOURSELVES. AND, TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER AS THOUGH YOUR LIVES DEPENDED ON IT. When you really think about it, if you are dealing faithfully with these tree things, there is no way you can commit sin, but which sin is the one that has the ability to block us from Heaven? DEATH? Nope, there is nothing that can keep me from the love of God, RAPE? Nope, there is nothing that can keep me from the love of God, MURDER? Nope, there is nothing that can keep me from the love of God, SLANDER? Nope, there is nothing that can keep me from the love of God, AHH BEING GAY? Nope, there is nothing that can keep me from the love of God.
