The Almighty God the Creator of the heavens, the earth, the sea and springs of water, and in Whom we all live and move and have our existence, have ordained specific principles by which every aspect of life is governed, and principally by which man should live. These principles are eligible to all peoples, nations, tribes and languages, for it is stated that, "For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus." One very important consideration, is the fact that since the transgression of Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden, man separated himself from God, and God selected only a few men like the patriarchs and the prophets to communicate with them, and kept the communication line between Himself and man open. But with the rest of humanity it is said that; "In bygone generations He allowed all nations to walk in their own ways. Nevertheless He did not leave Himself without witness, in that He did good, gave us rain from heaven and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness" (Acts 14:16-17). But in due time, He called the nation of Israel to be a special people unto Himself, and revealed to Moses His principles of Godly living, and so Moses said to the people; "For you are a holy people to the Lord your God; the Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth. The Lord did not set His love on you nor choose you because you were more in number than any other people, for you were the least of all peoples; but because the Lord loves you, and because He would keep the oath which He swore to your fathers, the Lord has brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you from the house of bondage, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments; and He repays those who hate Him to their face, to destroy them. He will not be slack with him who hates Him; He will repay him to his face. Therefore you shall keep the commandment, the statutes, and the judgments which I command you today, to observe them" (Deuteronomy 7:6-11). The children of Israel were supposed to be an example to the other nations, so that they could imitate them as alluded to by Moses who said to them; "Surely I have taught you statutes and judgments, just as the Lord my God commanded me, that you should act according to them in the land which you go to possess. Therefore be careful to observe them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples who will hear all these statutes, and say, 'Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.' "For what great nation is there that has God so near to it, as the Lord our God is to us, for whatever reason we may call upon Him? And what great nation is there that has such statutes and righteous judgments as are in all this law which I set before you this day? Only take heed to yourself, and diligently keep yourself, lest you forget the things your eyes have seen, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life. And teach them to your children and your grandchildren." The living principles which the Lord gave to Moses for the children of Israel are perpetual, as Moses explained to the people saying; "For ask now concerning the days that are past, which were before you, since the day that God created man on the earth, and ask from one end of heaven to the other, whether any great thing like this has happened, or anything like it has been heard.' "Did any people ever hear the voice of God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as you have heard, and live?
