His ancestral place a small town in Eastern Hungary not only charms him but literally in-captivates him. Against all reason and common sense Michael falls in love under the strangest of circumstances. In a self-deceiving desire Michael is pulled and repelled by a strange attraction to a beautiful woman. Events at Hollovar - at his father's birth place - plays sweet and sour havoc with Michael's heart and soul. Hollovar is in the middle of the Kunsag where the inhabitants the Kuns still live a traditional life. In Hollovar Michael encounters many interesting characters that one way or another contributes to his unexpected torment. Michael becomes a circumstantial suspect in the most unusual crime, a crime whereby the entire male population of the town could easily be suspected.
