Kyle Dawson is seven years old and on vacation with his parents when they check into a hotel on a desolate stretch of highway in Idaho. After a night's stay at the hotel they walk outside to find themselves in 14th century Mexico, among Aztec Indians, where they are taken for gods. When Kyle contracts a very high fever they desperately seek some way to return to their own time, eventually succeeding. The hotel is boarded up for renovations. After getting Kyle's fever under control they look for the hotel on the internet without success. The entire experience was too bizarre to believe, except that the father brought back two valuable Indian masks from the journey. They were given three token each when they checked into the hotel, thinking they were for vending machines. In reality they were a means to return to the hotel where dreams come true. It is fourteen years later when Kyle encounters a stressful situation where he uses one of the tokens. He finds that the world is not as he believes it to be. The human race is not the only life in the universe, and there is good and bad throughout the universe. Kyle has been chosen by the controlling entities to combat the evil perpetuated by extraterrestrials as well as humans. He embarks on a path that leads from one eye opening adventure to another. Along the way he enlists the help of two others and they find that there is more to history than they learned in school. Are they in a fantasy world, or do dreams really come true?
