The fictional story, starting with the murder of a Senator, witnessed by The Witness (character modeled after the author), who is then sought by the Mafia for termination. The story is set in Miami in the year 2020, contains sci-fi descriptions of future machines and equipment, and is interspersed with true stories from the mission field revealed as flash-backs.
