Sean A. McCandless works as an associate professor in the Public and Nonprofit Management program at the University of Texas at Dallas, USA. He co-founded the Journal of Social Equity and Public Administration and has co-edited and authored numerous works on social equity.

Susan T. Gooden is dean and professor of the L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs at Virginia Commonwealth University, USA. She is an internationally recognized expert on social equity.
