Relatedness, the current structuring of the human society, determines resource optimality worldwide. The world has a resource underutilization/underinvestment/misapplication problem. Sub-optimal consequences are unfavourable results of identity politics and struggles and the subsequent inadequacy of opportunities for most people to positively utilize their adaptive capacities. Relatedness apparently encourages competition along fault lines for power, resources and mating partners. Some of the major unfavorable outcomes include discrimination, mistrust and suspicion; unemployment; poverty; economic fluctuations; global terrorism; and identity conflicts and war. Because of relatedness, most remote rural locations, urban slums and other peripheral geographical locations around the world are battling to cope with the lack of or poor infrastructure and planning. To unleash the world's full potential, it is important to de-emphasis the now widespread identity triumphalist plot by embracing connectedness in order to scale up investments in physical infrastructure, to realize inclusive growth, and to diminish the meaning of borders. Enterprise development in deprived locations throughout the world can help close the income opportunity gap. However, efforts to foster enterprise in some parts of the world frequently runs into whirlwinds since the private sector may be incapable or disinclined to absorb the infrastructural costs associated with establishing businesses in far-flung and often relatively less-profitable locations. The presumption that government intervention can tackle market failures through public policy choices only holds when we pretend government failures don't happen. Yet evidence abounds showing commonness of non-market failures. Recently we are witnessing situations in which market failures are combined with imperfection in government performance due in large part to the relatedness dilemma. Relatedness dilemma refers to coincident market failure and government failure arising from politics along fault lines. In such scenarios, the non-profit sector is obligated to support infrastructure investment to guarantee productivity, evenhanded growth and to facilitate the creation of new income opportunities. Tajiriba Spaces (urbanized neighborhoods) represents an innovative mechanism for the non-profit sector to compliment government intervention and/or encourage more private sector involvement in peripheral rural and urban areas globally through infrastructure development in order to tackle unemployment, poverty, conflicts, rural-urban migration, linguistic diversity, and other sub-optimal outcomes.
