Dr. Alireza Bahrami is an Associate Professor of Civil and Structural Engineering and the Subject Responsible at the University of Gävle in Sweden. He has more than 23 years of experience in the field of Civil and Structural Engineering including academic experiences at different universities and practical (industrial) experiences at various consulting and construction companies.
He has taught many different specialized courses to master's and bachelor's students of Civil and Structural Engineering at universities. He has been a supervisor and an examiner of PhD, master’s, and bachelor’s students. He has carried out numerous scientific research works and published many articles in internationally reputable high rank journals and conferences. He has had several positions at universities such as the department head of Civil Engineering-Structural Engineering, the chairman of Specialized Committee of Structural Engineering major, and member of University Research and Technology Committee.
Also, he has practically worked in various types of Civil and Structural Engineering projects at companies. He has had positions at companies such as managing director, head of board of directors, successor of managing director, deputy of designs and studies, projects manager, head supervisor, head of technical office, senior structural designer, site supervisor, and construction site engineer.
