You-Peng Chen, PhD., Professor, College of Environment and Ecology, Chongqing University, China. His research interests are theory and biotechnology of water pollution control. Dr Chen has undertaken 10 research projects including the National Natural Science Foundation, the National Science and Technology Support Program, and he has published more than 90 research papers in ACS Nano, Trends in Biotechnology, Environmental Science & Technology, Water Research, etc. The published papers have been cited more than 1500 times, and the most cited time is 98. The h-index is 21. He is a member of IWA, and reviewer for more than 30 international SCI journals.
Teng-Fei Ma, PhD., lecturer, National Research Base of Intelligent Manufacturing Service, Chongqing Technology and Business University, Chongqing, P. R. China. His research interests are wastewater treatment biotechnologies, and the bioanalysis with surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensors. Teng-Fei Ma completed his PhD studies at Chongqing University, China, where he investigated the response and adaptation mechanisms of denitrifying bacteria to nanomaterials. He worked as a postdoctoral scientist at College of Resources and Environment, Southwest University. Dr. Ma currently investigates the bacterial behaviors in nanoscale with SPR imaging sensors. He has published over 15 papers in Water Research, Science of the Total Environment, Trends in Analytical Chemistry, etc.
