This book deals with some of the recent as well as traditional problems in finite and infinite nuclear matter systems originating from various nuclear well established theoretical models. It introduces brief introduction about the effective field models like relativistic and non-relatistic. These microscopic models are very advance and well accepted in nuclear community for explaining the wide range of systems started from finite to infinite matter. In this book, we try to explain the bulk properties of finite nuclei like binding energy, charge radius and quadrupole deformation. It contains the extension of recently proposed effective mean field theory and shown that the extensions are essential for describing the finite and infinite nuclear systems. We analyzed properties of static and rotating neutron star, mostly using the state of the art effective theories which are very useful for the experimental measurements.
