Electrical discharge machining (EDM) is a non-traditional process that uses the electrical spark discharge to machine electrically conducting materials for geometrically complex shapes or hard materials, which are difficult to machine using a traditional approach. The objective of this work is to study the effect of different electrodes material on the responses of electrical discharge machining. The electrodes material were copper and brass with diameter (15mm) and (40 mm) length used to machine AISI H13 steel at different currents (20, 30 and 40A), Pulse on time (50 ,100 and 150 µs), Gap (1,3 and 6mm) and constant workpiece thickness (4 mm) with is diesel oil. Taguchi method is used to determine the best designe for Nine samples were machined by using electrical discharge machine with voltage (140 V) remains constant during machining.
