The general perception of these youths remains that it's a profession/occupation of the poor, they thereby lack interest in agriculture as they find school farm practicals to be boring, these are affecting their participation and benefits in/from such programmes. Samuel Justina Eberechi obtained her first degree in Agricultural Economics and Extension (2009) from Abia State University, Nigeria. She further obtained her M.Sc in Agricultural Extension and Rural Devt. (2015) from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. She is presently a lecturer III in Federal College of Agriculture, Ibadan Nigeria.
