Most people on public welfare are high school dropouts. The dropout rate is compounded when people on welfare have more children, and don't know how to help them read, study, and learn. Can you imagine what prosperity would be gained, or how much taxes could be lowered if the dropout rate could simply be reduced to half its current rate? This book, Student Study Skills, is a condensed version of my book, How To Learn. It has a short story explaining how learning is a step-by-step process, ten parent assistance ideas, twenty specific study skills, and short, condensed study skills for younger students.
