Vahab Bashiri is a professor of accounting at various universities in Iran and also a banking officer at Agricultural Bank, Tehran, Iran. He received his bachelor and master's in accounting from the Imam Khomeini International University. Before joining the Agricultural Bank, he was an accountant as well as the head of accounting of several firms.
