This book investigates the suitability of stabilized Expansive soil as construction material in Civil and Geo-environmental engineering applications using the Eko soil enzyme. The expansive soil was stabilized with Eko soil enzyme alone and in combination with Fly ash. The dosage of Eko soil enzyme was maintained at a range varied from 2% to 6% and that of Fly ash at 10% to 50% of the dry weight of Expansive soil. Before the main tests, the basic index and engineering properties of the expansive soil which form the backbone of this research work were studied and these properties were referred to as and when required in the subsequent experimental works to achieve the major objectives of the proposed work. All the properties were studied for samples cured for a period of 0 days, 7 days, 14 days, and 28 days. The strength and deformation characteristics of the stabilized expansive soil were reviewed through Unconfined Compressive Strength (UCS) and California Bearing Ratio (CBR). Permeability characteristics of the stabilized expansive soil samples were studied for samples cured for 0 days, 7 days 14 days, and 28 days. The concentration of metals was studied for Cd, Cr.
