Jane Lawes grew up in Surrey and studied American Literature with Creative Writing at the University of East Anglia. Her first series of children's fiction, Gym Stars, was published by Usborne in 2012, and her Ballet Stars series was published by Usborne in 2015. She has written books for Bloomsbury Young Readers, Oxford Reading Tree Treetops and Rising Stars Reading Planet. Sarah Jennings is a children's book illustrator based in South London. She discovered a love of drawing at a young age and has been scribbling ever since. Her clients include Bloomsbury, Simon & Schuster, HarperCollins and Walker Books. Sarah works from her home studio in the company of her three-legged cat, Calvin.
