Since the 1970s, educational science and the idea of education in studies and teaching has been an academic discipline that deals with the complexity and differentiation of social and cultural conditions (cf. the paradigm shift from the humanities to the social sciences with a current emphasis on cultural studies). With the emergence of sub-disciplines such as school pedagogy, university didactics, social pedagogy, vocational pedagogy, adult pedagogy, continuing education, political education, intercultural competence, media pedagogy and gender research, there are subject areas and fields of practice that (can) lead to enrichment in their specialization, but also to uncertainty.There is no doubt that the research results are no longer comprehensible to the individual. The diversity of research results makes it necessary to focus on personal priorities. The motif of the study is the reflection of personal university studies, ongoing further education in the form of completed postgraduate further education in the context of university personnel development in connection with publication and teaching.
