O autorze

Dieter Grimm wurde 1979 Professor für Öffentliches Recht an der Universität Bielefeld und war von 1987 bis 1999 Richter des Bundesverfassungsgerichts. Seit seinem Ausscheiden aus dem Gericht ist er Professor für Öffentliches Recht an der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, ferner künftiger Rektor des Wissenschaftskollegs zu Berlin. Er unterrichtet überdies an der Yale University und der New York University. Zahlreiche Veröffentlichungen.
