David Brandenberger, 1970 in Urdorf, Schweiz, geboren, ist Augenoptiker, Fotograf, Maler, Musiker und Initiant vom Solatrike-Projekt. Mit dem Solatrike fuhr er 40'000 km von Europa bis nach Neuseeland. Die Geschichte dieser Reise hielt er in einem Buch fest.Er reiste einmal drei Monate durch Neuseeland und Australien, und ein anderes Mal ein Jahr lang durch Südamerika und zur Antarktis.Seine Soloreisen startete er mit vielen Städtereisen per Interrail durch ganz Europa. Reisen und Fotografieren gehörten bei ihm schon immer zusammen. Inzwischen hat er schon sämtliche Kontinente bereist und fotografiert.Die Fotos sind ebenso zentral in seinen aussergewöhnlichen Multimedia-Shows.
