The author has attempted to incorporate the recent concepts on the topics without sacrificing the simplicity of language. Annexure on recent precipitation data from the local weather station and soil suitability for each crop has been included in this book.

I obtained my B.Sc (Agri) and M.Sc. (Agri) from SKUAST, Jammu in 2009 and 2012, respectively. I received my PhD (Soil Science) degree from SKUAST, Srinagar. i have selected in maulana Azad National Fellowship and Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship. I cleared ASRB NET twice in 2014. Presently working as JRF at DIHAR (DRDO), Leh Ladakh.
