Atlanta begins to flex its muscle to become more than a charming, small, southern town. The early 1960's see her becoming a city. The new Atlanta terminal is the largest passenger terminal in the country. New growth, however, brings new problems. The drug trade begins to see the city as a lucrative hub for its distribution. With the planned expansion of one of the local airlines into the South American market, enterprising drug traffickers swoop into the city to try to lock down supply routes. One such group is known as Nieve de diablo, or, Snow of the Devil. FBI Agent, John Buckalew, agrees to help his young friend, Ben Rutledge, by checking on a man his mother is seeing. In doing so, Agent Buckalew runs headlong into the violent and deadly forces of the drug cartels who are making their move into the Atlanta area.
