Dr. Jinan Fiaidhi is an internationally acclaimed author and keynote speaker in the field of collaborative learning and machine learning. Since her early Ph.D. work on the discovery of learning indicators in student programs back in 1983, she has established a pioneering line of research that builds on her expertise in this field, and her landmark achievements include Virtual Scenebeans for P2P collaboration, semantic MOOCS, crowdsourcing-based learning, and the use of IoT for learning. Dr. Fiaidhi has provided workshops and keynotes in over thirty countries. She firmly believes that collaborative learning should be established using a variety of enabling smart technologies, like ambient intelligence, calm computing, crowdsourcing, social media, and machine learning. She is a senior member of IEEE; Chair of Big Data for eHealth at the IEEE ComSoc eHealth TC, and Department Chair of Extreme Automation at IEEE IT Pro. She has published 4 books and more than 160 refereed articles.
