Dr.(Prof.) Surender Singh Yadav is a renowned Orthopaedic Surgeon. Founder-Director, PGIMS, Rohtak & Director-Medical Education, Haryana. Past-President of Indian Orthopaedic Association 1992. Recipient of 18 National and 8 International Academic Awards, including ‘Sher-e-Bangla National Gold Medal’ from Dhaka (Bangladesh). Dr.B.C.Roy (Major) Award as ‘Eminent Medical Man’1995 by the President. As a unique distinction, Prof. Yadav has been honored by the Five Hon’ble Presidents of India and honored with the National Award of “Padamshri” – 2008.
Dr.Yadav obtained his MBBS degree from SMS Medical College, Jaipur, and MS in Orthopaedics from Delhi University, Delhi. Dr. S.S.Yadav has been a medical teacher in many post-graduate institutions. His original/innovative biological research is published in the ACE Journals like the JBJS (Am.). World leaders have widely appreciated his work on Non-vascularised fibular grafts.
