Exercise not only plays a central role in physical health, but also influences cognitive processes and therefore learning. This study examines whether short movement units during the school day have an impact on children's concentration. At the same time, the subjective assessment of teachers is also used to analyze the realistic feasibility of implementation. The research in this thesis is based on a combination of quantitative and qualitative surveys. Standardized concentration tests are used to determine the effect of the movement units. In addition, guideline interviews with teachers are used to present the implementation, challenges and opportunities from a subjective perspective and to compare the costs and benefits. The aim of the work is to create a link between the positive effects of the exercise units and practical experience from everyday school life by combining quantitative and qualitative methods. The results should also help to identify realistic possibilities for integrating more exercise into everyday school life.
