Nilanjan Dey is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, JIS University, Kolkata, India. He is a visiting fellow of the University of Reading, UK, and also holds the position of Adjunct Professor at Ton Duc Thang University, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Previously, he held the honorary position of Visiting Scientist at Global Biomedical Technologies Inc., CA, USA (2012-2015). He got his PhD from Jadavpur University in 2015. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Ambient Computing and Intelligence, IGI Global, USA. He is the Series Co-Editor of Springer Tracts in Nature-Inspired Computing (Springer Nature), Data-Intensive Research (Springer Nature), Advances in Ubiquitous Sensing Applications for Healthcare (Elsevier). He is an associate editor of IET Image Processing (Wiley) and an editorial board member of Complex & Intelligent Systems (Springer Nature), Applied Soft Computing (Elsevier), and more. He has written 110 books and over 300 other publications in the areas of medical imaging, machine learning, computer aided diagnosis, data mining, etc. His works have been cited over 15,000 times. He is India's Ambassador to the International Federation for Information Processing-Young ICT Group and a senior member of IEEE.
Jyotismita Chaki, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in School of Computer Science and Engineering at Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, India. She has done her PhD (Engg) from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India. Her research interests include: Computer Vision and Image Processing, Pattern Recognition, Medical Imaging, Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning. She has authored more than forty international conferences and journal papers. She is the author and editor of more than five books. Currently she is the academic editor of PLOS ONE journal (IF: 3.24) and Associate editor of IET Image Processing Journal (IF: 2.373), Array journal (Elsevier) and Machine Learning with Applications journal (Elsevier).
Rajesh Kumar is currently serving as Professor and Head at the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur, India. He is also adjunct faculty to Centre of Energy and Environment at Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur, India. Dr. Kumar has carried out extensive research in various areas of theory and practice of intelligent systems, bio and nature inspired algorithms, smart grid, power electronics, power management, applications of AI to image processing and robotics. He has published more than 450 papers in international refereed journals and conferences. He has received and published 12 patents. He has supervised 15 PhD and 35 Master thesis. He has delivered more than 100 expert talks in various conferences and workshops. Dr. Kumar has won the Career Award for Young Teachers, Government of India in 2000. He received 06 best thesis awards, 05 academic awards, 12 best paper awards, 04 professional awards and 30 student awards. He is Vice Chairman, IEEE Rajasthan Sub Section and Executive Member, IEEE PES-IAS Delhi Chapter and Computer Society of India, Rajasthan Section. He is Associate Editor of IEEE ITeN (Industrial Electronics Technology News), Associate Editor, Swarm and Evolutionary Computation, Associate Editor, IET Renewable and Power Generation, Associate Editor, IET Power Electronics, Deputy Editor-in-Chief, CAAI Transactions on Intelligent Technology, Associate Editor, International Journal of Bio Inspired Computing.
