Nico van der Aa was born June 13th, 1979, in Helmond, the
Netherlands. He studied applied mathematics at the Eindhoven
University of Technology, where he got his Master''s title in
numerical mathematics in 2003. Afterwards, he joined CASA
(Centre of Analysis, Scientific Computing and Applications) as a
PhD student.
