Information and communication technologies (ICTs) have developed over the last few years and it has been adopted in the education scene due to its perceived advantages. Different nations have tried embracing various strategies in selecting the right infrastructure for their education system with varying degree of success. This is primarily due to the absence of a technique that guides in selecting an appropriate ICT infrastructure that meets the needs of a particular nation's educational demand. This research proposes an approach that will assist mainly education policy holders in choosing the most suitable system architecture thus preparing the ground for selecting an ICT infrastructure.
