This research was carried out between 2013 and 2015, referring to data from 2007 to 2013, and focused more specifically on epidemiology and the main species that cause accidents. Showing the accidents in the main neighbourhoods of Palmas, the research also maintains an educational focus for the prevention of such accidents, taking into account the biological importance of the scorpion species involved and their ecological importance in our environment.
