Larry Singer, a former photojournalist turned scanner artist, expands and redefines fine art photography. Using only an Epson photo scanner and a computer, Singer creates photographic images of such sculptural dimensionality and tonal depth, that they belie the flat surface on which they were created. One of Singer's scanner images was featured in the January 2015 issue of Popular Photography magazine. In addition to working as a photojournalist, Singer's images have also been used to create posters, greeting cards, calendars and album covers. During Singer's 13-year career as a contributing photographer with Circus magazine, he photographed many of the rock music's greatest stars during the 1970s including The Rolling Stones, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Alice Cooper, Deep Purple, Rod Stewart and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.
